Oh (insert expletive here). Natalia - you are right, this is a duplicate
of bug 1555569. I was reviewing our outstanding issues with snapd and
for some reason I didn't find that bug and opened a new one.
The feature exposing the .desktop information is being tracked in bug
1661590.
