** Description changed: gnome-settings-daemon itself is only shipped in Ubuntu GNOME. The schemas are used in several different Ubuntu flavors but the schemas were not changed in the 3.22 cycle. The new release is fairly quiet, mostly bug fixes. I've been running gnome-settings-daemon 3.21.90 for the past week and I haven't seen any new issues. - Super+F1 is now a global hard-coded shortcut to launch the system help. (This is specific to gnome-settings-daemon so only affects Ubuntu GNOME). - - systemd will be used to track the network services gnome-settings- - daemon launches. + - systemd user services will be used to track the network services + gnome-settings-daemon launches. https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-settings-daemon/log https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-settings-daemon/tree/NEWS The new version does not require either gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.22 or gnome-control-center 3.22. (The problem with updating gsettings- desktop-schemas is this release adds several new schemas that would be ignored which could be confusing for people who try to tweak settings in dconf-editor. gnome-control-center 3.22 depends on GTK 3.22.)
