Public bug reported: I loaded a .opvpn file in the network manager plugin but it doesn't connect at all. This file configuration works well on my android phone with OpenVPN for Android" app. I cat the syslog and attached the result below.
Also I've seen a lack of some features with the vpn server on my internet box and here is the link http://dev.freebox.fr/bugs/task/14662 explaining why it's working with "OpenVPN for Android" app and not with "OpenVpn Connect" app. It seems it is about "TUN Error: tun_builder_error: ifconfig addresses are not in the same /30 subnet (topology net30)" error/bug or missing implementation on my vpn server. But I really don't know about vpn networks. Also I tried to launch it from terminal and it seems on, no lock appear on the plugin connection icone though. If I download a big file and I check on my vpn server I don't see any big amount of data passing through, But I can see I am logged in ! ------------------------ al@Raoul:/home/al$ sudo openvpn --config /home/al/.openvpn/config_openvpn_bridge_Al.ovpn Fri Jul 29 18:59:04 2016 OpenVPN 2.3.10 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [EPOLL] [PKCS11] [MH] [IPv6] built on Feb 2 2016 Fri Jul 29 18:59:04 2016 library versions: OpenSSL 1.0.2g-fips 1 Mar 2016, LZO 2.08 Enter Auth Username: ******* Enter Auth Password: ***************** Fri Jul 29 18:59:13 2016 Attempting to establish TCP connection with [AF_INET]***.***.***.***:***** [nonblock] Fri Jul 29 18:59:14 2016 TCP connection established with [AF_INET]***.***.***.***:***** Fri Jul 29 18:59:14 2016 TCPv4_CLIENT link local: [undef] Fri Jul 29 18:59:14 2016 TCPv4_CLIENT link remote: [AF_INET]***.***.***.***:***** Fri Jul 29 18:59:14 2016 WARNING: this configuration may cache passwords in memory -- use the auth-nocache option to prevent this Fri Jul 29 18:59:15 2016 [Freebox OpenVPN server ****************************] Peer Connection Initiated with [AF_INET]***.***.***.***:***** Fri Jul 29 18:59:18 2016 TUN/TAP device tap0 opened Fri Jul 29 18:59:18 2016 Initialization Sequence Completed ^CFri Jul 29 19:20:56 2016 event_wait : Interrupted system call (code=4) Fri Jul 29 19:20:56 2016 SIGINT[hard,] received, process exiting al@Raoul:/home/al$ ----------------------------- Any clue ?
