Public bug reported:

I loaded a .opvpn file in the network manager plugin but it doesn't connect at
all. This file configuration works well on my android phone with OpenVPN for
Android" app.
I cat the syslog and attached the result below.

Also I've seen a lack of some features with the vpn server on my
internet box and here is the link http://dev.freebox.fr/bugs/task/14662
explaining why it's working with "OpenVPN for Android" app and not with
"OpenVpn Connect" app. It seems it is about "TUN Error:
tun_builder_error: ifconfig addresses are not in the same /30 subnet
(topology net30)" error/bug or missing implementation on my vpn server.
But I really don't know about vpn networks.

Also I tried to launch it from terminal and it seems on, no lock appear
on the plugin connection icone though. If I download a big file and I
check on my vpn server I don't see any big amount of data passing
through, But I can see I am logged in !
