Public bug reported: The GNOME Maps app is the most prominent app in Ubuntu's Software app. It's the only app with a large wide-screen banner on the home page of the Software app.
The Maps app currently doesn't work because the server it was using stopped providing free map tiles. See bug 1602035 for more info.
