I got this ibus warning instead: IBUS-WARNING **: Unable to connect to ibus: Could not connect: Permission denied
and the following work-around worked for me: $ rm -r ~/.config/ibus although why this helps, or why only evince seems to have input problems with ibus remains a bit of a mystery. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1587968 Title: evince insentitive to typing in search, page, zoom, ect fields To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/1587968/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
