I was asking "what solution was used?" because I can't really find out if my suggestion was considered. Do not create /.Trash-$USER directories but $USER directories in /.Trash and only if that directory exists. So, the user chooses if he/she/it wants a trash by creating /.Trash or not when formating or with a utility.
