Public bug reported: For most things when you have a menu such as a normal one or a right- click one, next to the options your normally have the keyboard shortcut for that option, however even though you can copy and paste stuff in gnome-terminal with "CTRL + SHIFT + C" and "CTRL + SHIFT + V", there is no text next to those options in the right-click menu which tells you that.
And I think that this would be something very useful especially with these options as people who are new to Terminal usually mistake "CTRL + C" for "Copy" rather than "Interrupt". I am running Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 with GNOME 3.18. ** Affects: ubuntu-gnome Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: ubuntu-gnome Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1532957 Title: No keyboard shortcut label next to "Copy" and "Paste" options in right-click menu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1532957/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
