I don't remember which applications I removed exactly, but as soon as I did, alacarte suddenly broke. Nothing shows up. However, clicking "Places" right next to it works perfectly fine. I'm using GNOME Flashback (or was it GNOME Classic? Forgot the exact name), dunno what version.
