I've also found the same bug in Vivid Vervet, my background is distorted, changing the background picture occasionally makes the image stabilize. After rebooting the image is distorted unless the mode is set to the following modes: Tile the image to fill the entire monitor area, Centered unscaled image on the monitor, stretch to fit the monitor area.
