After updating to language-pack-gnome-de 1:15.10+20150709 (and its dependencies) this issue is fixed for eog but not for nano. Also I'm noticing several untranslated parts on the dialogs on package configuration:
- flashplugin-installer 11.2.202.491ubuntu1 (completely untranslated) - resolvconf 1.77ubuntu1 (the first dialog is untranslated) - keyboard-configuration 1.108ubuntu5 (at least the entry "Do not configure keyboard; keep kernel keymap" in the first dialog) - libpam-runtime 1.1.8-3.1ubuntu3 (all selectable entries) - libpaper1 1.1.24+nmu2ubuntu3 (all selectable entries) Also on reconfiguring all packages on my system most of stdout/stderr are not translated (this seems to be a generic issue so I have not listed now a package for this). ** Also affects: flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: resolvconf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: console-setup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: pam (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: libpaper (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to eog in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1464848 Title: Missing german translation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/console-setup/+bug/1464848/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
