We should assign this bug to an overarching component/project as multiple independent services (media-hub, location-service, dbus-daemon) are affected.
However, one idea that came to my mind: It might be that a spurious posix signal is causing these issues, probably a SIGHUP somewhere, arising on a thread that the respective signal is not blocked on.
