Public bug reported: Hi,
if you create a 7zip-archive, you can choose that it's splitted up into files with a certain size. I just wanted to split a big file into many 100 MB big files but as it turned out it created 100 MiB files. So every file has 104'857'600 byte instead of the intended 100'000'000 byte. ** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to file-roller in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1326190 Title: "MB" instead of "MiB" when splitting archives To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/file-roller/+bug/1326190/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
