I set up language AND keyboard to French for the whole system.
After login, the applet indictor tells "Fr" but when I type, in a
terminal I get the Us mapping (Qwerty)
changing the keyboard from Fr to En (USA) and back solves the problem
I am not sure, but I think I got the same behaviour on 13.10
Not sure too, because of "auto-login" but I think that the welcome
screen has the right keymap
