If we can call it workaround, one simple is here to prevent re-lock: DISABLE “lock screen after screen turns off” or as the matter of security SET A TIME-OUT instead. (As you know it’s possible through System Settings > Brightness and Lock)
After then you WILL face the blank screen after unlocking, but NOT the lock screen again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1291365 Title: gnome screensaver locks again shortly after unlocking To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-screensaver/+bug/1291365/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
