Public bug reported:

I have Ubuntu 13.10 with nautilus version 1:3.8.2-0ubuntu2.2 and gnuplot
candidate version 4.6.3-2.

Nautilus crashes when viewing a directory containing a file to which
gnuplot is sending output. To replicate, do the following:

1. Open Nautilus and go to some directory, e.g. "~/temp".
2. Start gnuplot. Enter the following command: set output "~/temp/blah.svg"
3. I expect Nautilus to show the newly created file "blah.svg", which it
briefly does. Then it crashes. It also crashes if you try to look at the folder
later after closing gnuplot.

I've attached the valgrind output of nautilus. On my system, it output
the following to the terminal:

Initializing nautilus-dropbox 1.4.0
sys:1: Warning: g_object_set: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
Nautilus-Share-Message: Called "net usershare info" but it failed: 'net
usershare' returned error 255: net usershare: cannot open usershare directory
/var/lib/samba/usershares. Error No such file or directory
Please ask your system administrator to enable user sharing.
