Public bug reported: This is a follow-up from bug 1245926, comment 11.
In trusty, I have `Shift+Alt L` as layout switching. Pressing the combo by first pressing the Alt key doesn't work. Only when the Shift key is pressed first does the combo work. ---------- For other layout switching problems introduced in Ubuntu 13.10 you can see bug 1218322. ---------- ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: gnome-control-center 1:3.6.3-0ubuntu49 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.12.0-7.15-generic 3.12.4 Uname: Linux 3.12.0-7-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.12.7-0ubuntu3 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Sun Jan 5 12:08:49 2014 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationDate: Installed on 2010-10-12 (1180 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release amd64 (20101007) SourcePackage: gnome-control-center UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to trusty on 2013-10-26 (70 days ago) ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug trusty ** Summary changed: - When Alt+Shift is for switching keyboard layouts, Shift has to be pressed first + When `Shift+Alt L` is for switching keyboard layouts, Shift has to be pressed first -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1266179 Title: When `Shift+Alt L` is for switching keyboard layouts, Shift has to be pressed first To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1266179/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
