If I open BlueTooth Settings, then select the device from the list on the left, then click on the "Browse Files" button, then IT WORKS.
It's definitely the notification-area widget that it's broken. I'm going to change this to "confirmed" because if we wait for someone else to test it (let alone confirm it) we're going to wait forever.
