Thanks everyone for testing! So it seems this fixes the issue for about half the people. The others have a different bug which breaks suspend similarly, but for a different reason. We need a new bug report for this then, with a D-BUS monitor log during suspend (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingDBus).
