I'm a bit disappointed. The upstream bug is from may 2005 and also this bug is classified as wishlist meaning it has a very low priority (lowest?). We are talking about useability (people switching over from Windows for example) where it is expected these things just work. Altogether, this means this bug will not be solved very soon and that's a pity. Sorry if i'm a little emotional on this thing.
