There used to be a bug in Nautilus that that prevented Shotwell from doing this, but it was fixed. See http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/2129 and https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=632427 I tested and this does work with Nautilus on Ubuntu.
I suspect the issue is with the elementary Files application have different command-line requirements than Nautilus. ** Also affects: pantheon-files Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #632427 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=632427 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to shotwell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1243697 Title: File name is not highlighted after you click show in directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pantheon-files/+bug/1243697/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
