Some debug info:

(gnome-power-statistics:23859): Gtk-DEBUG: Connecting to session manager
(gnome-power-statistics:23859): PowerManager-DEBUG: got filename: ac-adapter;
(gnome-power-statistics:23859): PowerManager-DEBUG: got filename:

(gnome-power-statistics:23859): PowerManager-DEBUG: got filename: battery-good;
(gnome-power-statistics:23859): PowerManager-DEBUG: selected row is:
/org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/line_power_AC

It looks like it needs the following:

battery-missing
battery-empty
battery-full-charged
battery-full-charging
battery-caution-charging
battery-low-charging
battery-full
battery-missing

Since these aren't in the humanity-icon-theme, they should be provided
by gnome-icon-theme.

Adding gnome-icon-theme to this bug.

** Also affects: gnome-icon-theme (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New
