Public bug reported:

I am attempting to assist a friend in diagnosing their ubuntu 13.04 with
pulse. They have a Logitech g930 headset that worked fine when they are
on their Windows machine (completely separate system) however, when she
plugs it into her laptop (Ubuntu) it will work fine for a while, and
then randomly drops.

If she goes to the output devices screen, clicks the headset icon, then
goes back to her music/movie/whatever the sound returns.

Any assistance on this would be great.
