I have the same problem - trying to find a device and nothing besides the little circle of bubbles happens. No device, no connection no nothing. I already read up on the problem. Maybe it has to do with the hardware? Could it be, that there is no supported bluetooth? It works fine under Windows 7 (on the same machine). Is there a way to find out if there is a recognized bluetooth adapter? If so, could somebody please post the sudo for it? It is annoying because besides the bluetooth problem ubuntu 13 runs great on my Fujitsu Lifebook A530. Thank you for help!!
