Public bug reported: I have an HP 2000 laptop. I have to set my bios to legacy mode for Ubuntu 13.04 to recognize my 3290 wireless card. If legacy mode is disabled, UEFI mode, I get an error about irq 0 mismatch and wireless device is not ready. This a new laptop, less then 1 month old, and a clean install of Ubuntu 13,04.
Why is the RALink 3290 wireless firmware/card not recognized in UEFI ? ** Affects: gnome-nettool (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-nettool in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1174062 Title: Ralink 3290 & UEFI To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-nettool/+bug/1174062/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
