I have to disagree with most of Jeremy's comments This is only a means to present an "open with" context menu option in nautilus which doesn't exist. After actually using there are only 2 options, "Open" (nautilus) & "Open With", not 4
How the user populates the "Open With" sub menu is up to the user, that's what options are for (when they exist The Open With sub menu is not just for alt. FM's, can be useful for A/V dir.'s & what ever else the user desires Anything that appears in the sub menu that isn't desired can be user removed from the Open With menu with a r. click on > "Forget application" ** Attachment added: "context menu of audio file dir." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1026254/+attachment/3503512/+files/Screenshot%20from%202013-01-27%2016%3A36%3A42.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1026254 Title: Open with on folders was removed, Ubuntu should consider patching back To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1026254/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
