Thank you for your bug report, that's because the indicator loads "indicator-datetime" which is only available under Unity, not sure how to best resolve that since the GNOME remix guys probably want to keep displaying the GNOME upstream version.
We could make g-c-c translate "datetime" to "indicator-datetime" automatically under Unity (as we do for other panels) and just make indicator-datetime call "datetime", that would half resolve the issue only though since you would then get a panel to load but not the version which contains the settings for the indicator... ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Summary changed: - [gnome fallback] error link to "Time & Date" + indicator-datetime is used in GNOME classic but the panel is only listed for Unity ** Also affects: indicator-datetime (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: indicator-datetime (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: indicator-datetime (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Also affects: indicator-datetime Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: indicator-datetime Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: indicator-datetime Importance: Undecided => Low -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1098441 Title: indicator-datetime is used in GNOME classic but the panel is only listed for Unity To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-datetime/+bug/1098441/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
