Public bug reported: I run Ubuntu 12.04 64bit in a Sony VAIO with 8gb of RAM.
I've set the filemanager window to display a tree rather than a list. If a copy and paste files using keys (CTRL-C/V) it easy very easy that I copy a different file that the intended one. Using copy from the contextual menu works well instead.
