This appears related to whether the menu is show by default or not, and only affects the first instance of the terminal. Subsequent terminal instances open at the correct size, regardless of menu.
Also, this affects xfce4-terminal, and in fact, only the first instance of either gnome-terminal or xfce4-terminal is affected. As long as one of them is running, the next terminal opened is the correct size. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1009331 Title: Gnome terminal is wrong size (rows) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/1009331/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
