Your criticism is noted. However, this bug is already solved, or likely solved. HP just hasn't implemented the fix. And, there's likely no other solution aside from using capitol letters. ;-)
It would be more helpful if you provided better information. As such, only seems two solutions, either use all capitol letters or buy another manufacturer's hardware. Nothing wrong with using all capitol letters when a bug not fixed with a resolution goes unoticed and unfixed for so long. It would also be rational for people to start thinking their printer is broken at the hardware level since a fix wasn't implemented upstream. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/277404 Title: hp laserjet postscript text print does not print some characters To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/277404/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
