Public bug reported: Formerly versions of evolution showed at the top of the folder list the amount of read and unread e-mails in the selected folder.
This is gone with evolution 3.2.3 Kubuntu 12.04 because the background and the used font have the same color. (see screen shot) Following this https://bugzilla.gnome.org/671437 this is related to mistreated alpha-chanel. Please follow the suggested solution and upgrade libgtk-3-0 package to 3.4.4 or later.
