Public bug reported: Since I upgraded to Ubuntu 12.10, I started experience this happening. It sometimes happens that Nautilus hangs. It's eating 100% of my CPU, the window is darkened, I can't do anything on the desktop etc.

My other programs work normally with files during that time. Pkilling nautilus doesn't really help. After some time it can get ok once again, while sometimes I have to reboot.
