The UI design of "gnome-control-center screen" is very confuseing
* "Dim screen to save power" changed idle-dim-battery (GSD_POWER_IDLE_MODE_DIM) * "Turn screen off when inactive" changed sleep-display-ac and sleep-display-battery. (GSD_POWER_IDLE_MODE_BLANK) Both are not interrelated after all..... In "gnome-control-center screen", it should change idle-dim-time, and text should be "Dim screen when inactive", which make more sense. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/897302 Title: Screen dims even automatic dimming is turned OFF (when on battery) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/897302/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
