At now in edgy isnt two Floppy icons, this seems be solved.
But here stay problem with partitions on zip drive.
In lshal is partition on zip drive as hdd4:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ export LC_ALL="C"
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lshal -l -u
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_IOMEGA_ZIP_100_ATAPI
udi = '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_IOMEGA_ZIP_100_ATAPI'
  volume.mount.valid_options = {'ro', 'sync', 'dirsync', 'noatime',
'nodiratime', 'noexec', 'quiet', 'utf8', 'shortname=', 'codepage=',
'iocharset=', 'umask=', 'uid='} (string list)
  org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.method_execpaths =
{'hal-system-storage-mount', 'hal-system-storage-unmount',
'hal-system-storage-eject'} (string list)
  org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.method_signatures = {'ssas', 'as', 'as'}
(string list)
  org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.method_names = {'Mount', 'Unmount',
'Eject'} (string list)
  info.interfaces = {'org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume'} (string list)
  storage.policy.desired_mount_point = 'zip'  (string)
  storage.policy.mount_filesystem = 'auto'  (string)
  storage.policy.should_mount = true  (bool)
  block.storage_device =
'/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_IOMEGA_ZIP_100_ATAPI'  (string)
  info.udi = '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_IOMEGA_ZIP_100_ATAPI'
(string)
  storage.requires_eject = true  (bool)
  storage.hotpluggable = false  (bool)
  info.capabilities = {'storage', 'block'} (string list)
  info.category = 'storage'  (string)
  info.product = 'IOMEGA ZIP 100 ATAPI'  (string)
  storage.removable = true  (bool)
  storage.physical_device = '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/pci_10de_e5_ide_1_1'
(string)
  storage.vendor = ''  (string)
  storage.model = 'IOMEGA ZIP 100 ATAPI'  (string)
  storage.drive_type = 'zip'  (string)
  storage.automount_enabled_hint = true  (bool)
  storage.media_check_enabled = false  (bool)
  storage.no_partitions_hint = true  (bool)
  storage.bus = 'ide'  (string)
  block.is_volume = false  (bool)
  block.minor = 64  (0x40)  (int)
  block.major = 22  (0x16)  (int)
  block.device = '/dev/hdd4'  (string)
  linux.hotplug_type = 3  (0x3)  (int)
  info.parent = '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/pci_10de_e5_ide_1_1'  (string)
  linux.sysfs_path_device = '/sys/block/hdd'  (string)
  linux.sysfs_path = '/sys/block/hdd'  (string)

but usually is used hdd, hdd1 or hdd5:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ fdisk -l /dev/hdd

Disk /dev/hdd: 100 MB, 100663296 bytes
64 heads, 32 sectors/track, 96 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 2048 * 512 = 1048576 bytes

   Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hdd1               1          96       98256    b  W95 FAT32
Partition 1 has different physical/logical beginnings (non-Linux?):
     phys=(0, 1, 1) logical=(0, 3, 1)
Partition 1 has different physical/logical endings:
     phys=(287, 63, 32) logical=(95, 63, 32)
