Public bug reported:

Expected behavior: able click on files in nautilus 'Icons' and
'Compact' views

Actual behavior: the file area in nautilus stops responding to left clicks to
focus/select items as soon as I tap on my touchscreen.
After tapping I am also unable to select items with usb mouse. Very
reproducable, logging out/in to a new session starts with working Nautilus,
that stops when tap occurs. Maximizing window and tapping on file area, tapping
on desktop, etc. all cause the problem.

'List' view continues to work, other gtk programs continue to work, and
left-click drag can select 'icons'/'compact' items even when simply
clicking does not.
