Public bug reported:

queue up some video files (I first noticed this on some large (800MB) .mkv
files: 1080p, H264, 24fps, AAC audio)
bring up the system monitor, and watch the memory usage for totem go up and up
as the video plays.
at the end of the first video, memory usage is around 600-900MB. when the
second video starts playing, it will not drop down, but continue going up and
up.

My computer gets glitchy when it starts getting into the 900MB-1GB range
of memory usage, but thats a symptom of just not enough RAM, and the
fact that totem just doesnt release its memory usage (or at least not
fast enough, if it does at all)

My only option on these large video files is to: watch one, close totem,
and then watch another, and repeat.
