Hello, As this bug is marked as "Fixed" I just wanted to make clear that GNOME_SESSION_SAVE=TRUE does *NOT* work in Ubuntu 12.04 "Classic" (updated to date, so with the released "fix"). No window/application is saved and re-opened/re-launched on startup. I understand that it should be marked as "pending" until it is proven to work, what seems not for other users as for the last comments. I find, as many, this feature not only useful but necessary for day-a-day use. It is often more useful a window opened in the last session than any post-it. This is the kind of issues keeping away previous users of GNOME2. I would like to contribute something but sadly I am not programmer/developer of any kind. I hope to see some progress soon. I will try Desgualdo's script in the meantime. Regards.
