Hi Daniel, Your workaround may not work for the super+P (video out switch event), because it is handled by gnome-settings-daemon. (of course technically it can be done, but that means we need to write a new program to do that)
And I want to know what has changed in 12.04 Unity with regard to the Super key, because the "Super+P" key sequence, which is sent by the video out hotkeys, has been working fine in 11.10 and before.
