Ok, the work around is only of limited value, as I also experience other
keyboard and mouse click input failures similar to this bug:

The whole thing might be related to this bug with the color picker,
which I can reproduce on my system, too:

Has the patch to gtkhtml mentioned in that thread been integrated in
ubuntu already somewhere? Anyone experience with the bug and the fix?
When I find the tine, I could try the patch, but if someone has already
done that, I would be glad, if I could save the time.
