I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS -Release amd64(20120425) with a Nvidia Quadro NVS 295 graphic card. Xinerama is enabled with two identical monitors. RANDR extension is missing on system. I am using the 295.49 printed out from nvidia x server settings. X says I'm using 295.33 driver as printed out in /etc/X11/xorg.conf
