Public bug reported: The problem:
When klicking in "gnome-control-center sound" -> "test sound" on button "test" I expect to here any sound, or at least a visual feedback that there was playing a sound. Instead of that I get nothing of the expected. Klicking on the button leads to nothing :-( The reason: After searching the net and playing around in synaptic I installed "libcanberra-pulse". After that both expected feedbacks (visual and audible) came along in the test-facility of gnome-control-center. The solution: Please add libcanberra-pulse as a "hard" dependency to package gnome- control-center.
