Public bug reported:

Mounted a USB thumb drive. Deleted some file. Went to the trans can
and deleted the files. System took about 10 seconds to do this. After
this was done it was discovered that every file in the home directory
deleted.

Upon examination of the kern.log (attached) there were many errors on
the Fujitsu thumb drive. The kernel log file was 250mb so deleted some
repeating lines for this bug report.
