I see this too. I have downloaded this file: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gimp/plain/po-script-fu/hu.po?h=gimp-2-6 and did sudo msgfmt -o /usr/share/locale-langpack/hu/LC_MESSAGES/gimp20-script-fu.mo hu.po This made the missing translations reappear.
For some reason newer pot files both in upstream damned-lies[1], both in Ubuntu [2] seem to contain only 61 strings instead of the former ~600. I wonder if it has anything to do with this[3] change in intltool, since most of the strings in gimp-script-fu are coming from scheme files[4].
