Please check if solved by update to g-s-d 3.4.0 To check update with beta2 live CD: when at choice of "Try Ubuntu"/"Install Ubuntu", (connect net and) switch to tty1 (ctrl-alt-F1) and 'sudo apt-get install aptitude' then use 'sudo aptitude'. (Or it's possible with ftp and dpkg if, like me, you also have errors with apt-get.)
