Public bug reported: *** This is likely a bug with the way KDE launches gnome-terminal, but I'm unsure what packaged that would be. Also, I'm ignorant whether gnome-* apps should even work under KDE at all...
If I launch gnome-terminal in KDE, it is opened at normal size, and right away is resized to a tiny window, 264 x 80px (though final size seems to vary). This is always reproducable on this install and another machine at home (same versions though).
