Sorry to disappoint you in this point, but at the time I wrote the 
description of this bug Nautilus did _not_ crash. The description was 
only a summary of what I experienced before ... many times!

Therefor this crash file (as I assume) will not be of any value to you, 
picturing only a PC that runs well, while the respective crash occured 
hours or days before.

One thing I forgot in my report: After all Nautilus instances once have 
vanished, all it takes to go back to 'normal' is: to start one (!) new 
instance of Nautilus ... and - Bingo! - the missing icons on the desktop 
reappear, and everything is fine again.

I hope this will help you a little bit. If you have any other question

it as good as I can.
