Public bug reported: I'm playing back a long playlist (~1000 titles) in Rhythmbox, made up of mp3's and some ogg files. Every now and then, playback stops, and nothing happens, until I manually make Rhythmbox jump to the next track, then everything returns to normal.
It happens once in about every ~15-30 minutes (~4-10 songs). Crossfading is disabled. The playing is mostly stopped at the very beginning of a new song. I noticed a single occasion, when it stopped after playing 15-20 secs of a song. Tried to run from terminal using "rhythmbox -d", but it didn't show anything useful (at least not for me). The only thing to note is that the last output line(s) address the previously played file, not the one the pausing happens in. Couldn't pinpoint anything else, sorry. If there's any other information I can produce about the bug, ask and I will see to it.
