Sebastian,

With regards to my issue of my multi monitor setup breaking and
reverting back to low res mirror setup, would you say that is Xorg or
gnome-session? I am not sure under what to log it and what info to
provide, as the ONLY errors that I receive, when this happens, in my
logs are:

==> /var/log/kern.log <==

I ran: "tail -f /var/log/*.log" when i logged in and used the desktop until
the setup broke and these were the only errors logged.

Where do I go from here, this has been ongoing since the day 12.04
started development and I'm worried that this is an unknown bug that is
not getting attended to. My original bug 921540 was marked as duplicate
of this bug yet none of my errors point to gsd crashing.
