Public bug reported:
Top horizontal menu bar's (Unity Panel Service?) right hand side
indicators - power, time, date, network, bluetooth, sound, mail,
keyboard, language, skype icon etc - disappear shortly after boot. The
indicators are there for about 10-20 seconds, but the text and icons
disappear, after that short period of time.
I checked the /var/crash and found a .crash file title -
_usr_lib_unity_unity-panel-service.999.crash
I was also getting unity greeter and generic-pae crashes but do not know if
they are related -
_usr_sbin_unity-greeter.104.crash
linux-image-3.2.0-18-generic-pae.0.crash
