The problem is that the desktop file is in the xchat-gnome-common
package. But the binary in the xchat-gnome package.
Apt can deal with it with its "automatically installed" information.
When runing "apt-get autoremove xchat-gnome" it will remove xchat-gnome-
common too.

gnome-app-install makes use of this information from version 0.3.2 on.
If you install a package and remove it later, it will automatically
remove no-longer required dependencies of the removed application.

Testing and feedback for this feature is very welcome.
