Public bug reported:

I added two accounts to gnome "Online Accounts" (part of gnome-control-
center): a msn account and a gmail account (as you can see here:
http://imm.io/h6KK)

After adding the two accounts, Empathy try to import both accounts but fails to
connect. It keeps asking my gtalk password and saying that couldn't connect to
msn due a "network error" (as seen in here: http://imm.io/h6Md). The problem
persists no matter what I do (disconnect and reconnect, write the password
again, etc, etc).

If I delete the accounts and add then manually, on emapthy, instead of
using the "Online Accounts" setting of gnome-control-center, I'm able to
connect without problems - but only on gtalk, though, msn connects but
Empathy doesn't display any of my contacts (see Bug #939070,
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/939070)
